I know I’m not a guy… but heres my opinion anyways =]
I think the one from Kay is a little too plain, and it’s really thin… The one from JcPenney is nice with the dimension to it and has adds nice touch with the diamond accent… But, my favorite is the one from Zales.. I think it looks very nice. It’s not too plain and it looks like a man’s cross

For a man you probably choose 50 to 60 cm. If you want a decent stand-alone chain, I wouldn’t go lighter than 40 grams. If you only want a smaller chain to put a pendant on, it can be around the 20 grams. Anything over 40 grams is going to be seriously chunky. I have one that I wear myself and it’s 100 grams, but that’s not everyone’s cup of tea. If he doesn’t wear any jewelry so far, I wouldn’t go for the mega look (unless that’s what he want of course).

for your first outfit a chunky silver necklace would look good or a cross or even dog tags, even that brushed dirty looking silver would look good, love the shirt by the way simple but trendy,
